Whether to exercise or not to exercise?

When you are young there is no need to give special emphasis to exercise and walking, because your regular activities in school and evening play etc takes care of your bodily workout requirement. Then you joined a company for earning your bread or start a business for a living. Naturally at early stages of your career or in your business you will be physically active unless you choose a career in information technology or computer related job. In this case you are doing sedentary job.



Nowadays most IT companies have in campus gym for working out your muscles in between your work in front of your widescreen monitor. In that case make use of the facility without fail. If you started exrercising regularly in early stages of your life, you will remain healthy even after forties.



People at forties and above generally ignore exercising. Increased work pressure, family worries or burdens, spending time with kids, watching TV are few of many reasons which keeps you away from exercising. You simply say I don't have time for exercising. It is not like that. You are not determined to do exercising. If you have motivation and strong desire for exercise you can find time for sure.



The health problems people either men or women after forties may have are hypertension, diabetis, arthritis, back pain etc. Exercising regularly is the only way to combat these ailments. You don't have to do heavy weight lifting or isometric exercises for one to two hours a day like body builders do.



Brisk walking for 30- 45 minutes will be more than enought to keep your heart in good health, keeps increased cardiac output. This will keep your weight under safe limits. If time permits or if you are really interested in exercising, you can do few aerobic exrecises ranging from 30 to 45 minutes a day, 3 days a week. This will keep you away from hospital visits or pharmacy visits.
